Andy is a Business Broker at Raincatcher with a strong business sense and an entrepreneurial spirit. Andy is a highly experienced professional with a Big Four public accounting background providing audit, technical accounting, and advisory services to public and private companies in the technology, retail, and consumer markets industries.
Andy has strong technical skills including SEC rules and regulations and U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, leases, sale-leaseback, business combinations, pro forma financial statements, carve-out financial statements, income taxes, stock compensation, and fair value accounting. Andy has significant experience with business acquisitions and their integration into the acquiring companies. Andy has managed several public market debt and equity transactions, including the coordination with clients’ external SEC counsel and underwriters, review of applicable registration statements and proforma financial information, as well as the issuance of comfort letters. He holds an active Minnesota CPA license.Personal
Andy studied at the University of North Dakota where he earned a Bachelor of Accountancy with an Entrepreneurship minor. He is based in the Twin Cities with his wife and three kids. Aside from crunching numbers Andy is a car junkie, wine connoisseur, and enjoys cabin life in the summer.
