National Business Brokerage Raincatcher Announces New Ownership
Raincatcher Purchased by Denver- and Dallas-based Business Leaders, New Company Headquarters in Denver
DENVER, July 18, 2018: Raincatcher, LLC (raincatcher.com), a national leader in helping entrepreneurs buy and sell remarkable companies, today announced new ownership. The national business brokerage founded in 2011 by Robert Hirsch, previous founder of The Elevation Group and TV host of Save It or Sell It, has been acquired by business leaders Marla DiCarlo, from Denver, Colo., and Steve Conwell, from Dallas, Texas. The company’s new headquarters are in Denver, Colo.
Raincatcher, a nationally recognized leading business broker, is known as one of the most reputable business brokerage firms employing the latest in technological advancements and integrated digital marketing to connect the best buyers with its sellers. Accomplished small business owners Conwell and DiCarlo, who worked together in a previous venture spending several years coaching and consulting with entrepreneurs, vowed to find a way to partner together to serve the entrepreneurial community and help prepare their businesses for sale and maximize their value at exit.
“We believe small business is the heartbeat of America, and every small business owner deserves their chance at the American Dream,” DiCarlo stated. “Purchasing Raincatcher is affording us the opportunity to make good on our vow to serve this underserved market and help small business owners achieve their American Dreams by getting the most out of their businesses.” DiCarlo continues, “As former small business owners, we understand the hard work and sacrifices that go into growing a company. Our number one goal is to help that owner to prepare to sell their business to help maximize the value and to be an advocate helping the owner through every step of the selling process.”
Over the next decade this country will see a flood of baby boomers selling their businesses, which is very promising to future entrepreneurs. The California Association of Business Brokers estimates baby boomers will sell almost 12 million businesses over the next decade, equating to more than $10 trillion in assets changing hands. DiCarlo explained that as the top business broker working with small- to medium-sized business, they want to help these business owners find the best buyer to continue their legacy.
Conwell and DiCarlo have built the new Raincatcher team with experience in-mind. “We are serving businesses throughout North America and need to have a team in place with in-depth expertise in all areas related to the business buying and selling process,” said DiCarlo. The Raincatcher team is comprised of professionals who are small business experts who know the ins and outs of preparing a business for sale, marketing a business for sale, and connecting the ideal buyer with its sellers. “Throughout the buying and selling process we use a team approach to best serve our clients,” she stated.
