Colorado company ADCON, a full-service, national provider of high-quality commercial signage, worked with national business brokerage Raincatcher to represent and advise them on the successful merger of their business to Image One Industries.
The acquisition of ADCON by Image One solidifies ADCON’s future to continue to provide their clients with the quality products and services that has defined them since 1974. In turn, it provides Image One, a company committed to improving the operational structure and customer experience of brick-and-mortar companies with a strong Western U.S. presence. The companies will both experiences increased capabilities and production capacities as a result of the merger.
Raincatcher’s focus was to find the right fit for ADCON, and Image One proved to be the perfect buyer. Both companies are bound by a common mission to provide best-in-class products and services to their clients while offering their employees rewarding opportunities.
“ADCON is proud to be an Image One Company and will continue to operate under the ADCON name,” says ADCON General Manager Spencer Jorgensen. “We are excited for what the future holds for our customers with the power of both companies combined.”
“With Image One’s focus on brand experience graphics, construction, and facilities maintenance, ADCON’s existing clients will now have a new portfolio of services available to them that were not available in the past,” adds ADCON Rob Kinkelaar. “We are thrilled to offer American businesses a new way to maintain literally every aspect of their physical branding.”
Kinkelaar and Jorgensen, ADCON’s previous owners, will remain active with the business. Kinkelaar will serve as consultant and advisor to ADCON / Image One, while Jorgensen will continue in his role as ADCON’s General Manager. There are no additional planned changes to ADCON’s structure.
“ADCON and Image One’s complementary strengths provide both companies an incredible opportunity to better serve their current customers. This transaction was a perfect example of Raincatcher’s mission to bring the full resources of the firm to bear in serving small to lower-middle market businesses. It truly was a team effort. It’s a privilege to work with business owners like Rob and Spencer, and we are so glad to have been a part of their journey,” says Raincatcher Managing Director Aaron Linnebach. “We look forward to the success of the team in their newly formed partnership.”
