Selling a business can be both extremely rewarding as well as bittersweet, since that business is much more than just a set of financials for the owner. As much as I like to educate and inform my clients, what I love most about working at Raincatcher is listening to my clients and learning about their story about how they got the business to where it is. It’s those intangibles that can make a company great and translating that narrative to Buyers is where the fun lies.
About
As the son of immigrants, Vishal witnessed his parents do anything and everything to allow he and his brother to experience the ‘American Dream’. Observing his parents toil away in jobs they didn’t like was the driver behind Vishal’s decision to one day become a small business owner. After working for several years in tech, real estate and financial services, Vishal embarked on an entrepreneurial career that spanned nearly a decade in the fitness industry.
Vishal has since leveraged his entrepreneurial experiences to advise and guide his clients to successful exits in a way that empowers them to be rewarded for their hard work. Prior to joining Raincatcher, Vishal worked for a Seattle based lower middle market M&A firm where his focus was on logistics, distribution and staffing firms located throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Vishal holds an undergraduate degree in International Business from San Jose State University and an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Emory University in Atlanta.
Personal
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Vishal has spent the last ten years in Seattle with his wife and son. When he’s not putting deals together, you can find Vishal at the gym or hiking through the lush landscape that the area has to offer. Having fully embraced the Pacific Northwest lifestyle, Vishal is a self-described ‘coffee snob’ and enjoys hunting for the latest and greatest coffeehouse in town.
